With the additional LR Baggs StagePro EQ and Element Pick Up, the MPA70E delivers a powerful volume for larger events. This innovative Element was engineered to mirror the soundboard’s actual movement as you play, and features a flexible film sensor only 2 thousandths of an inch thick which picks up the guitar’s most delicate nuances. In addition, its discreet EQ sidemount located on the upper bout, allows you to effortlessly achieve the perfect tone and features phase inversion and Garrett Null notch filter controls deliver warm, pristine sound even under the most challenging conditions. Furthermore, a built-in chromatic tuner provides fast and easy tuning, and includes battery access that is hidden beneath the control panel, maintaining a clean, classy look that doesn't take away from the overall design.
Sitka Spruce & Rosewood
Crafted from a solid, AA grade Sitka spruce top, the Alvarez MPA70E-LRB offers a traditional appearance and a superb tone. This stunning Sitka spruce top has been especially hand selected from quarter-sawn wood, and produces a crisp, versatile tone suitable for many styles of playing. The MPA70E-LRB produces a powerful, direct sound and will retain its clarity when you strum hard. As well as Sitka spruce, Rosewood adds complexity and depth to your overall sound. This balance offers swelling tones that keep your playing inspiring and clear. Both woods’ grains are inspected thoroughly for the highest quality cut.
Parlor
The Alvarez MPA66ESHB Electro Acoustic Guitar features a Parlor body, which is slightly smaller than an average sized guitar. The Parlor shape offers a balanced tone with a powerful projection, and also delivers a perfect mid-range tone. This type of body shape has recently had a resurgence with modern players, due to its versatility and compact size, making it a favourite with travelling musicians. Its compact size also accommodates fingerpicking players, as its nipped in waist means it can be held closer to the body.
