Pair of EMG Pickups

The MH-417 is loaded with a pair of high output EMG pickups, these consist of an EMG 81-7 in the bridge position and an EMG 707 in the neck. The ESP LTD FRX-407 delivers a sharp attack and a beefy rhythm tones when in the 81 bridge position and a warm and dynamic tonality when in the 707 neck position. The EMG 81 produces an incredibly intense sound, with plenty of high end cut. For an exceptional pickup combination, this LTD FRX Guitar also features an EMG 707 at the neck, which is an excellent 7-string pickup. The 707 produces a responsive and tight sound, and perfectly articulates each note you require.

7-String Maple Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

The ESP LTD FRX-407 features a 3-piece maple neck which is more resistant to warping than classic 1 piece necks. Maple offers a bright and clear tone, while the rosewood fingerboard brings warmth and richness to the overall sound.

Unique Body Shape Crafted From Mahogany

The FRX-407 features a unique and striking body shape, as the sharp edges, and striking bevels create an classic metal appearance. The body is crafted from mahogany, which enhances the sound with richness and resonance, as well as a tone with good bite and sustain. Mahogany is a durable tonewood and works well with heavy music. The mahogany body is finished in a smooth black satin for a classy, metal appearance.

Excellent Hardware

The hardware includes an LTD Locking Bridge and Grover tuners which work together to provide perfect intonation, regardless of how hard you play.
