Pre-adjusted Ortofon Cartridge
As well as being fully automatic, the A1 comes with an Ortofon OM10 cartridge pre-adjusted for complete convenience. Straight out of the box, there is no need to worry about fiddling around with the cartridge and tonearm—this has all been done for you ahead of time! The OM10 cartridge is the result of developments in ultra-lightweight tonearm design and thus has exceptionally fast response and detail in transients and microdynamics. While the OM10 has been selected as an excellent match for the A1 turntable, advanced vinyl enthusiasts may wish to experiment with other cartridges. To do so simply consult the user manual and ensure you have the necessary tools and accessories.
Phono Preamplification
The built-in switchable phono preamp is an invaluable feature for those without a dedicated phono preamplifier in their current HiFi setup.
