Sound Library By Award-Winning Engineer

Superior Drummer 3 features a truly impressive core sound library, but perhaps even more impressive is the fact that each one of these sounds was captured in detail by the award-winning engineer, George Massenburg. They were recorded at the Galaxy Studios in Belgium, and the library consists of an extensive 230GB+ of raw, unprocessed sound material, all captured using intricate and precise microphone configurations. This sound library provides you with an astounding sonic palette for which to craft your sound, with truly infinite possibilities.

6 Powerful Drum Kits

On top of SD3's exceptional core library, you can find six beautiful drum kits: Ayotte, Gretsch, Pearl, Premier, Ludwig and Yamaha. The range of kits are diverse, but so are the possible sounds from each kit. Tom shell dimensions range from 6'' all the way up to 20'', whilst optional tool and drum head selection is available for select drum kits. With 24 unique acoustic snares recorded in a whopping 25 different configurations, and 16 acoustic kicks recorded in 27 varying configurations, you truly have a huge array of tonal choice.

Extensive MIDI Library

Designed to deliver an incredible selection of fundamental groove and fill variations for a variety of musical styles, Superior Drummer 3's MIDI library is also equipped with a selection of dedicated Metal sections, as well as a category labelled 'Extras' which provides you with snare rolls, count-ins, and MIDI files specially designed to be used with brushed samples. The MIDI library consists of 1600 individually (and expertly) played fills, all categorised into common song structure parts. Ranging from 55 to 204BPM, with time signature of 4/4, 3/4, 6/8, 12/8, and 2/4 in both straight and swing feel, SD3's MIDI library has you covered for almost any situation.

Ultimate Control With The Built-In Mixer

Superior Drummer 3 features a powerful mixer, which introduces you to 35 low-footprint insert effects. Convert each channel strip into a complete sound-processing monster, and use options such as route, bus, send, saturate, blend, and mix to get the sound you need. Your sound is in your hands, and the mixer gives you an intuitive interface to achieve rich, powerful sonic characteristics.
