A recording icon, revitalised. Fender has been the number one name in valve amplification for 75 years. The Fender FSR '65 Princeton Reverb G12H65 is the latest in a line of revered amps that defined the vintage tube sound. From rich, twinkling clean parts to thick, crunchy overdrive, the '65 Princeton Reverb embodies the absolute pinnacle of traditional tube tone.
Finished in an extremely limited edition british sable covering, this Princeton's 12" celestion speaker sounds much louder than it's 15 watt output would suggest, meaning its as comfortable on the stage as it is in the rehearsal room. The sweet-sounding, tube-driven reverb and classic Fender vibrato, controlled with the included footswitch, mean you've got everything you need for luxurious valve tones, peppered with pure Princeton personality

Put the icing on the cake. World class onboard effects have featured in most of Fender's illustrious selection of combo amps, and the Princeton Reverb G12H65 is no exception. As the name would suggest, there's classic Fender long-spring reverb, with enough range to sit your guitar parts in any mix, or create moody effects-led parts when cranked.
The built-in vibrato adds shimmering movement to any section, and is totally tweakable thanks to the independent speed and intensity controls. Both are tube-driven for an authentic, smooth sound, and both can be conveniently controlled from the bundled Fender footswitch, for flare on-the-fly.
Take to the stage. The '65 Reverb breaks away from the original Princeton blueprint with the addition of a 12-inch celestion speaker. Part of Celestion's Heritage range, the G12H65 was favoured by 80's hard rock acts for its mid-focussed greenback grit.
However, when combined with infamous Fender circuitry, it provides a headroom boost that allows a much louder clean sound before breaking up, when compared with the traditional 10-inch design. Or drive the amp's front end with a boost pedal to hear how the G12H65 handles crunchy rock tones. You won't be disappointed.
A historic amp with humble beginnings. The Princeton is actually one of Fender's oldest amp lines, with the first model being produced as early as 1947. Known as the 'Woody', after its uncovered wooden frame, the earliest three-watt Princeton was simplicity itself, featuring no controls whatsoever - not even an on/off switch!
But the basic design and circuit had a magic to it that enchanted players the world over, with the cabinet and controls being upgraded over the years to meet the ever-expanding needs of the modern guitarist. Models from the 70's and earlier are highly sought after as recording amps - the '65 Reverb G12H65 brings that treasured design into the 21st Century.
