Key Features
The art of shredding. Not just any guitar will get the job done. The Dean Dimebag Pantera Cowboys From Hell ML is a metal monster that recreates Dime's screaming signature sound. Dean's USA-made, hand-wound DMT Design bridge pickup packs a serious punch, providing all the glorious grunt a metal guitarist requires. A roaring rosewood fretboard gives ultimate fast-fretting feel and a warm, rounded tone no matter how much distortion you throw through it.
But the sonic centre-piece is undoubtedly the Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge and matching locking nut. This cost-effective alternative to the classic Floyd Rose trem means guitars at any price point can wail with the best of them, while the tuning remains rock-solid. Finished with the iconic cover of Pantera's 5th studio album, the Cowboys from Hell ML is a fitting tribute to an album and a guitarist that sparked a generation of shredders.

When Dean Guitars do something, they don't do it by halves. Their new range of pickups are designed, hand-wound and fitted in-house in the USA. The single bridge humbucker included in the Dimebag Cowboys From Hell ML gets straight to the point, with a blistering output that sings with saturated harmonics.
Bombs away! So much of Dimebag's unique style was in the way he used his trem arm. Ever the showman, his swooping pinched divebombs made for performances packed with personality. The Floyd Rose Special Series bridge installed in this guitar uses a new range of budget-friendly materials to bring that same vibrato versatility and charisma to more affordable guitars.
Born Darrell Lance Abbott in August 1966, Dimebag began his life of shred when he received his first guitar and amp for his 12th birthday. Together with his older brother, drummer Vinnie Paul, he formed Pantera in 1981. Over the next 23 years the band released 9 studio albums, with Dime slowly migrating from shared lead guitar duties to centre-stage virtuoso all the while. Following the band's split in 2003, Darrell and Vinnie formed Damageplan. It was while onstage with Damageplan in Columbus Ohio in 2004 that Darrell was tragically shot and killed by an attendee who rushed the stage. The stars of the metal world came out for Dimebag's funeral, with big names like Eddie Van Halen, Zakk Wylde, Corey Taylor and Jerry Cantrell in attendance - a testament to his high standing within the worldwide metal family. Van Halen donated his infamous black-and-yellow striped "Bumblebee" guitar (a favourite of Darrell's) to be buried with him, saying "Dime was an original and only an original deserves the original."
