With enough power for smaller venues, the Crush Bass 100 is a seriously versatile combo in both sound and application. Utilising high end engineering techniques that aren't usually reserved for amplifiers of its type, the Crush Bass makes use of a 100 Watt output section to achieve and huge fat tone.
The Crush Bass 100 features and EQ circuit inspired by Oranges prestigious 4 Stroke Series Amplifiers. At its centre is a parametric mid band. This enables the player to enact total control over their sound, allowing them to distinguish and precisely locate the frequencies they want to hear. As well as being more accurate than a traditional EQ, the mid band covers an extremely wide range, sweeping from 300Hz (Fully counter-clockwise) to 2.7kHz (fully clockwise), meaning this amp can be fine tuned to suit a number of musical styles. The featured active circuitry allows for 15db of boot or cut on the bass and middle frequencies as well as up to 20dV on the treble side.
In addition the Orange Crush Bass 100 features an innovative blend and gain control that mixes layers of harmonics to producing an overall vintage and beefy tone.
At the centre of the Crush Bass 100 is its 100 Watt output stage and capability to fill smaller venues. Using discrete circuitry as opposed to integrated circuits, the Crush Bass 100 achieves a purer and even more powerful delivery with unprecedented clarity and definition. The Crush Bass 100 houses a 15” speaker with a reflex port for improved low end response. The buffered effects loop has been engineered for maximum transparency, ensuring your pedal arsenal will perform at its peak.
