Its overwound mismatched coils will ensure every note blazes through any thick mix, piercing head-first through your amp, whilst the Alnico 8 magnet adds even more oomph. At the neck lies an Old School single-coil, the ultimate powerhouse for sweet, clean tones. Perfect for sparkling lead tones as well as wondrous rhythm sections, the Alnico 2 magnet delivers beautiful brightness that is sure to enchant anyone listening.
Better still, you've noticed the push/pull design of the tone control? That activates a coil-split feature which means you can explore even more glorious tonal possibilities by effectively turning the humbucker into another single-coil.
