The Blue Yeti Nano USB Mic employs two polar patterns to use when recording your content, cardioid and omnidirectional modes. To adjust which pattern you want to use in your session, it is as simple as pressing the integrated button on board the back of the microphone to change selection.

This polar pattern provides a very focused sound by rejecting any undesirable off-axis background noise or interference.
