The Cloud Cloudlifter CL-1 Mic Activator is a microphone booster that provides 25 dB of ultra-clean gain to give the signal of any passive microphone an extra lift. Whether you need a boost to maintain your signal across long cable runs, or you're looking to increase the output of a microphone that tends to have a low output, the CL-1 will get the job done.
Thanks to its discrete JFET circuitry, the CL-1's neutral, flat sound will help to bring out the very best of the natural character of your microphones without imparting any of its own. Powered by phantom power from your interface, mixer, or preamp, the CL-1 will clean up phantom power to boost even the most sensitive ribbon microphones, letting you get the very most of them without risking causing any damage to them.
