Key Features
Image Line Harmor is a powerful additive synthesis plug-in that uses innovative 2D waveshaping to create sounds. Harmor analyses the frequency and amplitude of your created wavetable and processes that into an audio stream for you to manipulate as you would with any conventional synthesizer. Draw in your filter shapes and gain precise control over every aspect of the sound.
Using the advanced image and audio resynthesis engine, Harmor allows you to input audio files by simply dragging and dropping, so you can enjoy "sampler-quality" reproduction of sounds in an image-based synthesizer. Oscillators, filters and effects are all presented within Harmor and offer much more flexibility than traditional synthesizers as they are arranged in a semi-modular way. This means you can re-arrange a large portion of the modules in any way you need to create the sounds for your mix. Discover the sounds of a truly unique and world-class additive synthesizer and see how far your creativity takes you with Harmor.

Typically, additive synthesis is extremely difficult to create as it requires up to 500 partials per voice over time to be manipulated. With Harmor, Image Line presents an opportunity to discover the sound of additive synthesis without the need to edit waves and waves of envelopes by employing a 2D image shaper. Harmor lets you quickly and easily edit the gain and pitch of any waveshape with the ability to import any bitmap to create interesting and unique sounds, even from bitmaps that weren't meant to be audio.
An important tool within Harmor, you can resynthesize audio files with a faithful recreation of the original source. Performing resynthesis is made simple with a myriad of parameters that you can tweak and edit to perfect your sound including time-stretching, pitch-shifting and manipulations of partials.
Perfect for the live musician, Harmor is audio optimised for maximum performance with incredibly low CPU usage, delivering a smooth and seamless operation. Expertly designed, Harmor's efficiency is comparable to even the most basic of subtractive synthesizer plugins, meaning you can use it live and on stage without ever worrying about overloading, buffering or crashes during your set.
What would a synthesizer be without the wonderful world of effects. Within Harmor, you are provided with a plethora of effects to finalise your sound including distortion, chorus, delay and reverb as well as the world-famed Soundgoodizer. Effects can be re-ordered to suit any chain of effects you could possibly need in order to create the sound in your head. Try running a delay into distortion to create a crunchy yet dynamic reverb that adds subtle depth to your sound, while blending in part of the dry signal with the built-in mix function.
