IK Multimedia AmpliTube 5 Overview
IK Multimedia AmpliTube 5 is a complete and extremely detailed amp and pedal simulation suite built to get the best out of any guitar. With 183 emulations comprised of 46 stompboxes, 35 amps, 28 cabs, 15 speakers, 11 microphones, 40 different rack units, and 8 different recording rooms, AmpliTube 5 will let you dial in the perfect guitar tone for any track. Whether you want a range of tones for your playing, or you're mixing a track and need that professional sheen on a guitar that's lacking a certain character, IK Multimedia's detailed emulations will give you the tone you need.
AmpliTube 5 provides functionality as both a plug-in or as a separate 8-track recorder, looper, tuner and DAW, as well as comprehensive practice tools and live performance options. A drag-and-drop signal chain allows up to 57 models to be loaded at once, series and parallel routing, and a DI signal blend for a wide range of freedom and layering, and a custom impulse response loader allows you to load any of your own impulse responses in place of the cabinet models. The cabinet emulations, powered by IK's Volumetric Impulse Response system, consist of combinations of over 143,000 impulse responses recorded directly from the real cabs in multiple configurations. With this same attention to detail brought to emulations of each pedal, amp, rack effect, microphone and room capture, AmpliTube 5 gives you all of the tone-shaping options you could possibly want for any guitar track.

Relying on their VIR™ technology, each individual speaker modelled as part of an amp or cabinet consists of 600 true-to-life recorded impulse responses per microphone. Signal path freedom
