Every oscillator in MWaveShaperMB is powered by a highly versatile oscillator algorithm which offers a range of custom oscillator shapes made using MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES), pre-defined oscillator shapes and an onboard step-sequencer.
Enhancing your sound with dynamism and movement, MWaveShaperMB includes a wide range of modulation options. Every parameter can be modulated from a huge range of internal sources including the onboard LFO, audio level follower, envelope generator, randomisation or even input pitch detection.
When creating tones or browsing presets within MWaveShaperMB, you will only hear the change in sound that your processing applies and not the volume change. We can often be fooled into thinking that a louder sound is better without the context of hearing how it sounds when level-matched. Melda has included Automatic Gain Compensation across the entire plug-in which adapts to settings to ensure the output is only as loud as the input to make better mixing decisions.
Not only this, but MWaveShaperMB also features a Safety Limiter fixed to the output level at 0dB. This ensures that any adjustments to the output volume that you make in your processing won't go above digital clipping and will hit the brickwall limiter, saving your ears from any potentially harmfully loud sounds.
Built to endure the rigours of any kind of audio production application, MWaveShaperMB can handle anything from mono, stereo, mid/side encoding as well as surround sound up to eight channels and up to 7th order ambisonics for 64-channel processing. Taking it one step further, MWaveShaperMB includes A - H switching, offering up to eight slots of settings where you can freely switch between all eight to find the right sound for your song. Additionally, Slots A - D are available in the built-in X-Y pad, letting you blend between four potential settings and find the right balance between each of them.
