The Subzero SZD-30 microphone is perfect for a wide variety of percussion applications owing to it heavy duty capsule and large diaphragm. The microphone has a large frequency range from between 50Hz and 16KHz, meaning that it will pick up all the tonal qualities of just about any instrument you record. Snare drums, commonly a very difficult instrument to replicate because of its complex overtones, is well replicated with the SZD-30 microphone. Snare drums are not the limit however, this mic is great for toms, bongos, djembes or any other kind of percussion!
