This instrument comes with two single-piece, hand-hammered, yellow brass bells, suited respectively to playing in D and Eb. Two different sets of slides also facilitate easy changes between tunings. This is perfect for players wanting to explore an expanded repertoire without needing two entirely different instruments. The silver-plated finish provides a distinguished aesthetic and adds brilliance to the sound, and the entire piece is finished with a beautiful engraving. Bach's Artisan Stradivarius models represent the absolute finest instruments in their range. Painstakingly crafted by hand in their workshop in Elkhart, Indiana, the design of this trumpet evokes the spirit of Vincent Bach's vintage models. The two-piece valve construction features nickel balusters and brass casings, techniques which Bach was using on his original designs in the 1960's. This instrument also comes with brass valve guides, allowing you to achieve a truly classic tone.
Ever since the 1920's, Bach trumpets have been synonymous with quality. By using only the finest materials, combined with proprietary manufacturing methods, Vincent Bach's trumpets rapidly gained a reputation for being excellent symphonic instruments. Musicians would say that his trumpets had a "Stradivarius" feel, referring to the world-famous string instruments. This went on to inspire the name of his best pieces - the Stradivarius series.
Deluxe case
The ADE-190S comes included with a high-quality case, perfectly designed to fit both bells and sets of tuning slides. Built with a wood shell and padded securely in order to protect the contents, this sturdy construction features reinforced corners and is certain to keep your instrument safe and sound whilst you're on the move.
