Whereas traditional cane reeds need to be changed regularly due to natural wear, synthetic Fiberreeds can last up to thirty times longer. This is because of the Hollow Fibre Foamresin Compound (HFC). HFC perfectly replicates the fibrous structure of cane to produce a sound that actually exceeds traditional cane in many aspects.
