The Classic II Baritone Saxophone by Trevor James has been specifically tailored for students to intermediate players. The saxophone is free blowing and durable, providing an easy introduction to the baritone for new players. The durable design enables students to be able to use this saxophone for many years before needing a new one.

Italian leather pads with metal reflectors

The pads on your saxophone are important as they prevent air from escaping when you press the keys down. The Classic II comes with high-quality Italian leather pads, ensuring you will have the best feeling action on your keys with the least air escaping. Each pad also features a metal reflector or "resonator". These small discs woven into the pads help enhance the tone of your instrument and are an important part of the sound. Metal reflectors tend to produce a slightly brighter tone with a crisp attack.

When you buy a saxophone you want to be able to play it. That's why Trevor James provides plenty of accessories with your new sax. To keep your instrument safe in transport the Classic II comes with a lightweight contoured carry case, backpack straps also are included for more versatile carry options. Many saxophones don't come with a mouthpiece, this horn does in fact come with one, very handy! To protect this mouthpiece a cap is also provided. A reed and ligature also are included to complete the set up, making this ready to go almost straight away!
