The Hoof Reaper V2 has been built from three iconic EarthQuaker pedals, the Hoof Fuzz, Tone Reaper Fuzz, and Tentacle Octave. These three pedals can be used together or individually, allowing players to create anything from subtle octave up overtones to crushing octave squats. The Hoof is a germanium/silicon hybrid, offering everything from warm and gritty overdrive to huge sustaining fuzz. Unlike other muff pedals, this design features massive amounts of volume on tap with a smooth amp-like sustain.
The Tone Reaper side of the pedal is a vintage style fuzz, designed as silicon/geranium hybrid, providing you with a wide range of tones ranging from thin and glassy to a thick, growling sustain. Finally, you have the analogue octave of the Tentacle pedal, perfectly complementing the fuzz of the other two pedals. Everything from classic Hendrix-inspired tones to all-out screaming destruction.
